MONUMENT, YOUR NEW FAVOURITE VENUE FOR CONCERTS, CLUBS & COCKTAILS.
Located at the corner of Järnmalmsgatan and Stålverksgatan in beautiful Ringön, Gothenburg – MONUMENT is a 600 capacity, 1200 square meter concert venue housing two stages, ample seating, three bars, kitchen and a 150 capacity outdoor service area.
Our focus is on concerts, clubs and cocktails but all types of events are welcome. The team behind the venue consists of an eclectic bunch of experienced individuals from the bar, club and concert scene in Gothenburg. The plans to open on Ringön had existed for a long time, but the pandemic slowed down the process – something that first led to a positive development, when acquiring a new office which was completely renovated and took in tenants – however, this was housed in the same building that burned to the ground in March of 2021. The name MONUMENT came about after the fire, in many ways symbolizing a monument to what was lost, but even more so; what shall come.
